Student Short-films pt. 5!

Hello, once again!

As I promised before, here's "The F*cked-up B-movie Mash-up Experience!".

A parallel story for "Doble Personalidad" (a "short-film" by Emmanuel Contreras Vazquez).

Jaime/Herman is a "killer" with "double personality", one day he is sitting in his lair watching television when he suddenly sees some Steven Ballmer conference footage whilst browsing through channels. He becomes so enraged with the CEO of "Microshit" that he makes it his mission to shoot him and his garbage can.

Enjoy!

Student Short-films pt. 4

"The F*cked-up B-movie Mash-up Experience!" is the unofficial parallel short-film to the hilarious "short" made by a dude named Emmanuel Contreras (and he's actually in this too).

This short-film is a mixture of my favorite bad B-movie scenes. Well, 2 of them actually. Basically it's what makes me laugh most of the time.

The project is not finished yet, still some few tweaks to do. But, here's the trailer! Enjoy!

What's cookin' for 2010!

Hello, readers!

Happy New Year and blah-blah. After last year's project absence, I write this little post to announce this year's projects. I may not be able to do all of them, but they're what I'll be working on or start working on all-along 2010.

1) "La Araña" [Working Title]: Can't say a lot of this 'cause I want all of you to be surprised, but I've got a good feeling about it. All I can say is that I didn't write it (just made a few DIAF tweaks to the script), but I'll direct-produce-edit the short-film. Looking for a 2010 summer release. Here's some concept art!

2) "The Beach-Party/Road-trip Massacre" [Working Title]: Again, won't say much about this one, 'cause I wanna surprise y'all again. My return to trashy-exploitation-horror-short-film-making. Looking for a summer shoot & Halloween release. And as a late X-mas/New Year's gift, I give you (drum-roll) the teaser poster.

3) "No Time Tolouse!" [Remake]: This one I can tell about. Turns out during August last year I wrote a little comedy with some dudes, but another one ended up directing. After all this time this short-film hasn't seen the light of day, so, I decided to remake it according to my original vision, this time with yours truly in the director's chair. The short-film tells the tale of Donnie, a hungover dude and lame big brother, trying to pic his sister up from school in time but being delayed by hilarious situations. A tribute to classic slap-stick and Monty-Python-comedy.

4) "Paranormal Thingy!": This past Saturday I finally saw "Paranormal Activity" and I didn't like it at all, truth is, I laughed all-movie-long. So, whilst I was chatting with some friends, we decided to make a parody of it. Stupid, mindless and incoherent. Made with the same style and possibly same duration. This is one for the books. I'll be writing/directing/producing and possibly appearing in this one.

Other projects (for the future) include: "No Time Tolouse II!: Conversion"; "Untitled Horror-Musical Comedy"; "Untitled 'La Araña' Prequel".

That's all from me for now.

Laters!

"SILENT NIGHT, DEADLY NIGHT 2" DIAF Trailer!

As many of you are now aware that this humble writer has a certain obsession with
crappy b-movies, and a particular scene which explains why we shouldn't take out our
garbage when there's a dangerous man walking amok our neighborhood, I have cut together
a little tribute trailer for the epic "cheap-quel" for "Silent Night, Deadly Night".

Enjoy!
